The desulfurization and denitrification filter press in power plants is mainly used for solid-liquid separation and filtration during the desulfurization and denitrification process. In the desulfurization stage, it can filter desulfurization slurry, separate solid impurities such as gypsum, and achieve the recycling of slurry and dehydration of gypsum by-products; In the denitrification process, the by-products or dust generated by the denitrification reaction can be intercepted to ensure that the flue gas meets the emission standards.

Corrosion resistance: During the desulfurization and denitrification process, the slurry and flue gas have strong corrosiveness. The filter screen needs to be able to resist the erosion of sulfate ions, sulfite ions, chloride ions, etc., and maintain stable chemical and physical properties in acidic or alkaline environments.
High strength and wear resistance: During the pressure filtration process, the filter screen needs to withstand significant pressure and tension, while also resisting friction from solid particles. Therefore, it is necessary to have high strength and good wear resistance to prevent the filter screen from breaking or wearing out too quickly.
Filtration accuracy: According to the requirements of desulfurization and denitrification processes, the filter press needs to have appropriate filtration accuracy, which can effectively intercept solid substances such as gypsum particles and dust, while allowing liquids and gases to pass through smoothly. Generally, the intercepted particle size is usually 5-50 μ m.
Breathability and permeability: Good breathability and permeability can ensure the efficient filtration process, allowing liquids and gases to quickly pass through the filter, improving the efficiency of desulfurization and denitrification, and reducing system resistance.
High temperature resistance: During the desulfurization and denitrification process, flue gas may have high temperatures, and the filter screen needs to maintain stable performance in a certain high-temperature environment, without deformation, aging, or damage. It usually needs to be able to withstand temperatures of 40-80 ℃ or even higher.
